Meeting called to order: By Carl Kizer at 6:00 pm.
Invocation: Delivered by Cecil Boelts.
Pledge: Led by Carl Kizer.
New Visitors: Ron Clark, Frances Davison.
Elected Officials Present: Connie Uribe, Ron Clark, Frances Davison.
Candidates Present: Nicole Baggerly, Yuma Union High School District Board; John LeSueur, Superior Court Judge, Div. 5; Connie Uribe, Ron Clark, Frances Davison, all candidates for Hospital District Board.; Elijah Norton, AZ State Treasurer.
Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the CRTP Meetings are located on the CRTP website for review by the membership.
Treasurer’s Report: Due to the abrupt resignation of Sally Kizer, Richard Medeiros is appointed the new Treasurer.
Ways and Means: Announced the December 2026 Christmas Party and particulars.
New Business #1: Thereza Hernandez spoke about the push to drop of political information to low propensity voters and solicited volunteers.
New Business #2: Richard Medeiros spoke about being newly appointed as the Treasurer.
New Business #3: Steve reviewed for the membership the roster of speakers for the rest of the year
Old Business #1: The CRTP is pleased to announce the 2027-2028 Member Interest Survey! This will allow the members to vote in for subjects of interest and speakers to bring in for 2027 and 2028. Make your preferences heard by taking the survey at the CRTP website https://www.coloradoriverteaparty.org/news. The survey will close on November 30, 2026.
Guest Speaker #1: Nicole Baggerly, candidate for Yuma Union High School District Governing Board spoke about her background and why she is running for the office.
Guest Speaker #2: Ron Clark, candidate for Yuma Hospital District Board spoke about his background and why he is running for reelection to this office.
Guest Speaker #3: Elijah Norton, candidate for AZ State Treasurer, spoke about his background and why he is running for State Treasurer.
Guest Speaker #4: Frances Davison, candidate for Yuma Hospital District Board spoke about her background and why she is running for reelection to this office.
Auction: An auction was held to solicit donations for three shirts. Congratulations to the winners and thank you for the donation.
Motion to Adjourn: Aaron Salyi moved to adjourn, and a second from Dr. D was received at 8:15.
