From the meeting on December 4, 2025 - Christmas Potluck Party.

Meeting called to order: by Ruth Milne at 6 PM.

Invocation: by Jorge Gonzales.

Pledge of Allegiance: led by Ruth Milne.

Ways & Means: Cindy announced the Christmas decorations on the tables are available for

a donation; all proceeds will go towards our scholarship fund.

Ruth announced there were four applicants for the scholarships for spring semester. The

scholarships will be awarded within this week.

The meeting agenda was paused while members enjoyed the delicious pulled pork, baked

beans, and assorted salads and desserts for our potluck.

Guest Speaker 1: Leslie White, Arizona Regional Director of Citizens for Renewing

America.

Leslie updated us on the priority issues the Center is focusing on under the new

administration. They are putting America First, stressing God, Country, and Community,

and are fighting back against the Left while laying groundwork for tomorrow's

conservative victories. For example, they are working to ensure future censuses will be

more secure than the 2020 census which misrepresented communities, shifted political

power, and miscounted non-citizens.

They also are working to improve the function of the National Institute of Health (NIH) and lower DEI-driven projects, look deeper into the Islamic threat to America (the EPIC City near East Plano, Texas is one example where their political agenda threatens America's civic order).

In addition, they want to make America healthy again by supporting the MAHA movement and make America safe again by supporting the deployment of National Guard when mayors across the country fail to enforce their own laws.

Leslie also had a short video outlining the direction the Citizens for Renewing America is taking.

Guest Speaker 2: Keith Ware, President of Yuma Elementary School District #1

Governing Board.

Keith, who is running for re-election to the school board, related that Governor Hobbs and the state of Arizona is looking to restrict ESA programs in public school programs. He doesn't want to take educational control away from school districts and tries to advocate for parental choice in regards to their children's instruction.

He promotes truth and feels it is necessary to share factual data with the public. He believes in community service, academic accountability, and fiscal responsibility.

Keith had a short Q&A session after his presentation.

Ways and Means: there were three baskets prepared for auction. Russ Clark, from local

radio station News Talk 560 AM KBLU, served as auctioneer.

Basket One was a "Whiskey Basket". The winning bid was made by Alice Ward.

Basket Two was a "Wine Basket". The winning bid was made by Dr. Doniparthi.

Basket Three was a "Charlie Kirk" Basket. The winning bid was made by Dr.Doniparthi.

Lights Parade on Thursday, December 11, 2025. The parade starts at 6:30 PM at
