From the meeting on March, 19, 2026.



Meeting called to order: By Carl Kizer at 6:00 pm.


Invocation: By Sally Kizer.


Pledge: By Carl Kizer and Bill Edge.


New Visitors: None.


Officials Present: Connie Uribe, Hospital Board Member


Candidates Present: None.


Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the CRTP Meetings are located at the CRTP website. Motion

to approve provided by Greg Wenberg; second provided by Steve Birmingham.


Treasurer’s Report: Treasurer’s report is given at the CRTP General Meeting the month after

each calendar Quarter. The next report will be delivered during the April meeting.


Ways and Means: Cindy Wenberg delivered the report. She thanked Bill and Ute Edge, Patty Potts, Greg Wenberg, the Robinsons, and the Birminghams for helping with the BBQ and Brew event. Cindy reported that the amount raised in donations was $xxxxxxxx.


The CRTP participated in the Farmer’s Market on March 7, with help from the Kizers, Patty Potts, and Ruth Milne and was able to raise $xxxxxxxx in donations.


The CRTP will be participating in the Yuma County Fair in 2026. It begins Tuesday, 3/31/2026

and the last day is Sunday, 4/5/2026. There is a volunteer sign-up sheet circulating, so please

volunteer your time to help the CRTP raise money. The CRTP booth will be outside at the

entrance off of 32nd Street where the Trolley will be. Volunteers will be given a ticket for

entrance to the Fair.


New Business: Steve Birmingham solicited volunteers to fill the Board Secretary position

recently vacated by Connie Muccianti. Interested parties should contact Steve.


Steve announced the special event meeting on May 2, featuring Andy Biggs. Rep. Biggs is

running for Governor of AZ. Meeting details are on the CRTP website, and please RSVP on the website as well, to help us with planning refreshments.


Carl and Sally shared some of the history of the Tea Party in Yuma County, and shared also that the two Tea Parties are now working very closely together. This was received well by the

attendees.


Connie Uribe spoke for awhile and expressed that she was glad Carl was sitting in the

Chairman’s seat. She also spoke at length about (dis)unity in the GOP. Connie is making very generous donations to the CRTP, and the board expressed its gratitude for these donations.


Carl also expressed that the re-election of Rep. Michele Peña is the most important vote for Yuma County in 2026 so as to “keep AZ red.”


Motion to Adjourn: Dr. D. moved to adjourn at 7:06 pm. Second by Steve Birmingham.
